BOYS COACHES

Dean Curtis

Dean has more than 30 years of lacrosse experience. A native of Liverpool, NY he currently resides in Yardley.  Dean is a graduate and former standout player at The Ohio State University where he was a four year starter and ranks in the top 20 all-time leading scorers. Dean has coached at every level from youth to high school. He served for seven years as the Pennsbury Boy’s Varsity Coach and currently coaches for Lower Bucks Lacrosse and for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Josh Hanlon

Josh is the current head varsity coach at Washington Township High School in Sewell, NJ.  He is graduate of McDaniel College where he was a two-time All-American defenseman. He previously served as the Head Coach at Neshaminy High School and was also an assistant coach at Pennsbury High School.  Josh is a native of Newtown , PA where he attended Council Rock High School . He grew up playing in the Lower Bucks Lacrosse Program and was recently inducted into the McDaniel College Sports Hall of Fame

Jamie Huber

Jamie was the Head Coach for Pensbury High School from 2009 - 2014. He also founded the Truman Boy’s Lacrosse Program in 2001. Jamie attended and played lacrosse at  Archbishop Ryan where he was an All-Catholic League Defenseman. Jamie played midfield for the #7 West Chester University. From there Jamie went to Penn State where he competed on their club team helping lead them back to the NCLL National Championships.


Ben McDannell

Ben recently graduated from Franklin Pierce University where he was a four-year starter and three-time team captain for the Ravens. He was selected to the 2010 Northeast-10 Conference All-Rookie team, the 2012 and 2013 Northeast-10 All-Academic Team and the 2011, 2012 and 2013 Northeast-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll.  Prior to Franklin Pierce, Ben played high school lacrosse at Pennsbury under Coach Dean Curtis where he was a three-year starter and captain his senior year.

Drew Artin

Drew is a former founding Arrowhead player and has over 17 years of playing and coaching experience.  He has coached youth through college and currently serves as the head coach at Pennsbury High School.  He excelled as a face-off midfielder for Notre Dame High School (NJ) program and played DIII ball before finishing his collegiate career as a 2x Captain for the University of Mississippi's club team.  Drew went on to serve as the offensive coordinator for Adam's State University.  


Andy Gehlhoff

Andy has over 20 years of playing and coaching experience in both field and box lacrosse.  Growing up in Oswego, NY, Andy learned the sport playing for the Oswego Lacrosse Club.  Upon graduating from Oswego High School in 1997, Andy finished 10th in career points.  Andy went onto play at Le Moyne College where he contributed as a midfielder and face off specialist for the Dolphins.  Andy also played box lacrosse for the Oswego Hawks of the Can-Am Senior B Lacrosse League.  After relocating from Long Island, Andy currently resides in Yardley, PA and coaches for Lower Bucks Lacrosse.  

Shawn Caven

Shawn Caven has been playing and coaching lacrosse for the past 15 years. He began his career in Lower Bucks Lacrosse and then was a 4 year varsity starter at Pennsbury High School. He was a 2x captain, a 3x all-league selection, 2x first team Golden Team, and the Golden team Player of the Year. He continued his career at Ursinus College where he was also a 4 year starter and captain his senior year. Shawn set numerous school records for Ursinus College. Recently, he served as an assistant coach for the Neshaminy boys lacrosse team and Arrowhead Lacrosse. 


GIRLS COACHES

Chloe Jones

Member of Team USA U-19 team that won a silver medal in Scotland in 2015. Currently ranked 8th best HS junior in the country. Junior at The Lawrenceville School where she has been a three year tri-varsity athlete in lacrosse, field hockey and basketball. Committed to play lacrosse for The University of Virginia.  

 

Madison Jones

Two year starter for Haverford College Lacrosse Team and All-Centennial Conference Second Team and Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll.  Four year Varsity starter for The Lawrenceville School.  Named to the All-Trentonian and All Mid-Atlantic PREP Teams.  Honored as a High School Academic All American.  

Carli Harpel

Carli is a three sport varsity athlete at West Windsor Plainsboro High School North (soccer, winter track and lacrosse); and is the captain of the soccer and lacrosse teams. She plays club lacrosse for the Ultimate New Jersey select team. Carli was selected to the US Lacrosse School Girls National Team for New Jersey South as a midfielder the past three seasons. She has committed to play college lacrosse at Northwestern University in the fall of 2016.
